In the first place both bands played a show together at the hometown of Lars, who later released the vinyl of the record. He had the idea of starting a punk record label in mind already and came up with the idea of making a split record with the two of us. After all it took around 2 years till the record was ready to start spinning. At that time Trauma had already called its quits. Abenteuer Auftauen were facing struggles personaly and as a band already and only managed to play one show at a small local open air festival with this record on the merch table before the band fell apart as well in august 2008.

The Split LP therefore is a denoteable mark of parting ways and sharing common interests in music. Its an episode in our lives for both bands and the people in and around those groups in which we were together and alone at the same time.

We all will keep love for these times and will do so forever.
